Clean Eating Recipe – Ground Turkey and Quinoa Stir Fry


  • 1/2 cup of organic quinoa
  • 1/4 cup of green peas
  • 1/8 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/2 table spoon of minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup of diced tomatoes
  • Sea salt
  • 1/2 tea spoon of soy sauce
  • Black pepper
  • 1 table spoon of extra virgin olive oil

    for ground turkey

  • 4 oz. of organic ground turkey
  • 1/2 tea spoon of corn starch
  • 1 egg (white only)
  • 1 tea spoon of light soy sauce
  • 1 tea spoon of rice wine or white cooking wine


  1. In a mixing bowl, add ground turkey, corn starch, egg white, soy sauce and wine.
  2. Marinade for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. Meanwhile, cook quinoa.
  4. When turkey and quinoa are both ready, heat wok on high. Add olive oil.
  5. Add onion, garlic, peas and tomato.
  6. Let them cook for about a minute. Stir often.
  7. Turn heat down to med-high.
  8. Add turkey to wok.
  9. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, until turkey is done. Don't forget to stir often.
  10. Now, add quinoa. Stir to blend it in.
  11. Add sea salt, pepper and soy sauce.
  12. Stir and cook for another 1 minute.
  13. Turn heat down to med. Stir for another 2-3 minutes.
  14. You're done. Enjoy the stir fry.
