Clean Eating Recipe – Garlic-y Chinese Turnip Greens

Ingredients

  • 1 bowl (about 4 cups) of Chinese turnip green leaves
  • 1 table spoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 tea spoon of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Using a knife or a meat tenderizer, crush each garlic clove.
  2. Heat wok on high. Add oil.
  3. Wait until oil becomes hot (takes about 1 min), and add crushed garlic cloves.
  4. Let garlic cook until the outside becomes golden.
  5. Turn heat to med-high.
  6. Add Chinese turnip greens.
  7. Stir for 1/2 minute.
  8. Add sea salt.
  9. Stir for another 2 minutes.
  10. Done. Enjoy as a healthy side dish.
